About Mastermind School — Where Happiness Meets Confidence

Striving to Educate, Not Just Teach

Every school's About page says it is excellent. This one works differently: it tells you who we are, who runs Mastermind School Indore, what we believe, and — unusually for a school website — what we are still building. Then it invites you to walk into any campus and check every word.

Who Is Behind Mastermind School?

Mastermind School Indore is run by its own society of educators — the Society For Simplified Learning, founded by Naveen Chowdhari, the educator behind Mastermind Abacus — under CBSE Affiliation No. 1031472.

That one line means three practical things for you as a parent. This is not a purchased franchise of a distant national brand — the philosophy here is home-grown. The person accountable is local and reachable — you can ask to meet him. And every decision is made by educators, not a licensing agreement — which is why fees are published openly, safety systems are named, and abacus and robotics sit inside the timetable instead of being sold separately.

What the school offers — campuses, classes, labs, fees — lives on the homepage and campus pages. This page answers the questions those pages can't: who we are, why we exist, and what we're still building.

Our Story — It Began With "I Can"

Before there was a school, there was a classroom observation repeated thousands of times. Through Mastermind Abacus, founder Naveen Chowdhari and his team spent years teaching children mental arithmetic — and kept witnessing the same moment: a child solves a sum faster than the adults in the room, goes quiet with surprise, and then something in their posture permanently changes. They had discovered "I Can."

That moment raised an uncomfortable question: why should a child feel it only in a one-hour skill class, and not all day, every day, at school? Mastermind School is the full-scale answer — a CBSE school where happiness and confidence are not rewards for finishing the syllabus, but the method for mastering it.

  • 2005

The roots — Mastermind Abacus. Years of skill education teach the team how children's confidence is actually built.

  • 2016

Society For Simplified Learning is formed — educators come together to run a school of their own.

  • 2016

The first Pre-Primary campus opens in Bicholi Mardana — Play Group children arrive, and the Happy Induction Program is born.

  • 2024

Mastermind High School opens at Dudhia — the journey extends toward Class 10.

  • 2025

CBSE Affiliation No. 1031472 — the school's academic standing is formalized.

  • Today

Play Group to Class 10, two campuses, one bus network across 16 East Indore localities — and the same "I Can" moment, now happening in classrooms all day long.

The Two Pillars We Stand On

"A school is not just a building; it is a temple of learning." Every decision at Mastermind — from how a teacher corrects a mistake to how a bus route is planned — is tested against two pillars:

Pillar 01

Happiness

Fear can produce marks; it cannot produce learners. So the school works to keep children genuinely happy — a gentle Happy Induction for new joiners, teachers trained to welcome questions and mistakes, yoga and meditation in the routine, and skills children love woven through the day. The daily test is simple: does the child want to come back tomorrow?

Pillar 02

The 'I Can' Attitude

Confidence is built, not born. Children here repeatedly do things slightly beyond what they believed possible — sums faster than a calculator, a robot that actually moves, a line delivered on stage — until "I Can" becomes their reflex answer to every new challenge, including, eventually, the CBSE board exam hall.

Together, they mean one thing: we are striving to educate, not just teach. Teaching finishes a syllabus. Educating builds a person.

Five Promises Behind the Philosophy

Beliefs are easy to write. These five are checkable — each links to the page that proves it:

The Part Other About Pages Leave Out

You are choosing a school for ten years of your child's life — you deserve the full picture, not just the highlights reel. So here it is:

🤝 What we are still building

  • We currently go up to Class 10, not 12. Every Class 10 student is personally guided through stream selection and Class 11 admission.
  • We don't yet publish board results or rankings. Legacy schools have decades of toppers' lists; ours is a younger story.
  • Our Teachers page is still coming. Until it's live, we'd rather you meet our teachers in person — every campus visit includes them, not just the admission desk.

Why say this openly? Because the same transparency that publishes our full fee structure applies to our About page. A school that hides its gaps will hide other things too. Verify the rest: our affiliation is No. 1031472 in the Mandatory Disclosure, and any campus can be visited during school hours.

Questions Parents Ask About Us

About the School

What is Mastermind School?

A CBSE-affiliated school in Indore (Affiliation No. 1031472) run by the Society For Simplified Learning, offering Play Group to Class 10 across two East Indore campuses — built on two pillars: Happiness and the 'I Can' Attitude.

Who is the founder of Mastermind School?

Naveen Chowdhari, who also built Mastermind Abacus — the skill-education brand that has trained children in mental arithmetic across India. The school grew from a simple observation in that work: when a child genuinely believes "I Can," everything else follows.

Who runs Mastermind School?

The Society For Simplified Learning — the school is run by educators as its own institution, with day-to-day academic leadership under the campus principals and the founder's direction.

Is Mastermind School related to Mastermind Abacus?

Yes — same founder, same belief in skill-based confidence. Mastermind Abacus is the sister brand for abacus education; at Mastermind School those skills are built into the regular timetable at no separate coaching cost.

Why is it called "The Happiest School"?

Because happiness is treated as the first condition for learning. It shows up in specifics: the Happy Induction Program, child-centric classrooms, skills children love, and a no-fear culture around questions and mistakes.

What is the 'I Can' Attitude?

The school's second pillar: confidence is built, not born. Children repeatedly do things slightly beyond what they thought possible — until "I Can" becomes their default response to any challenge.

What are the school timings and working days?

8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Saturday as published. Confirm with the office if timings differ for pre-primary or a specific class.

Comparing Schools

Is Mastermind School a franchise school?

No. Many pre-schools in Indore are purchased franchises of national brands. Mastermind is run by its own society, with its founder personally involved — the philosophy here is home-grown, not licensed.

Why choose a newer school over an established one?

An established name tells you what a school was; a visit tells you what it is. Newer often means modern labs, current methods, closer attention, and leadership you can actually meet — with the honest trade-off of a shorter track record, which we acknowledge above.

What makes Mastermind different from other East Indore schools?

Four checkable things: fees published in full, named safety systems (24/7 surveillance, GPS buses with female staff on board), skills inside the school day, and Play Group–to–Class-10 continuity on one philosophy and one bus network. These four are what parents actually weigh when deciding the best school in East Indore — not slogans.

Do other schools publish fees like Mastermind does?

Most Indore schools reveal fees only after an inquiry call or in a PDF. Mastermind publishes its complete structure in plain text — a founding principle: "It is not mandatory to pay high fee for quality education."

Is a happiness-first school less serious about academics?

The opposite is the design: a child who is not afraid learns faster. The CBSE syllabus is taught fully — through smart classes and real labs — but without fear as the motivator.

Why did Mastermind choose the CBSE board?

CBSE keeps every door open — competitive exams, relocation, higher study — while leaving room for the school's child-centric teaching style and skill programs alongside.

Honest Questions

Is Mastermind School too new to trust?

It is newer than Indore's legacy names — this page says so plainly. What you can verify today: CBSE affiliation No. 1031472, the Mandatory Disclosure, two running campuses, published fees, and current parents at the gate at pickup time.

Why does the school only go up to Class 10?

The school has grown stage by stage rather than launching everything at once. Every Class 10 student is guided personally through stream selection and Class 11 admission.

Why aren't board results published on the website?

Because no batch has sat the boards yet. Mastermind High School's first Class 10 group appears for CBSE board exams in March 2027, and the results will be published on this website — with parental consent — as soon as they exist.

Why can't I see teacher profiles yet?

A fair question and a known gap — a Teachers page is the right next step. Until then, meet the teachers directly: every campus visit includes them.

Will fees jump suddenly after admission?

The complete fee structure is published before you ever visit, and payable in installments.

Is "The Happiest School" just a marketing line?

Judge the specifics, not the slogan: Happy Induction, child-centric classrooms, skills children love, yoga in the routine. Then do the real test — stand at the gate at 3 PM and watch the children's faces.

How do I verify what this page claims?

Check Affiliation No. 1031472 in the Mandatory Disclosure and on the CBSE site; compare published fees with what the office quotes; visit any campus during school hours. We built this page to survive exactly that scrutiny.

Where can I read Mastermind School Indore reviews?

On Google — both campuses have their own listings with unfiltered parent reviews — and in the parent testimonials on this website. We don't script or pay for reviews; read them before you visit, then come verify everything in person.

Ready to Meet Us

Can I meet the founder or principal before deciding?

Yes — ask when booking your visit. Leadership here is local and reachable; that's a practical advantage of a founder-run school.

How do I book a campus visit?

Call or WhatsApp +91 81090 55113, or use the form below — the team will confirm a slot at the campus that fits your child's age.

Which campus should I visit for my child's age?

Ages 2–5 (Play Group–KG-II): the Pre-Primary Campus in Bicholi Mardana. Class 1–10: Mastermind High School in Dudhia. Unsure? Call and the team will direct you.

What should I ask on a visit to test this About page?

Ask to see a class in session, not an empty room. Ask a teacher — not the admission desk — what the 'I Can' Attitude means. Ask how Happy Induction handles a crying child. Ask any parent at pickup why they chose Mastermind. That, honestly, is how to choose a school in Indore — test claims, not brochures.
